Project Description
100 Bishopsgate is a development of two mixed-use buildings in Bishopsgate, London.

The main 40-storey tower is anchored by a second five-storey podium featuring a stunning 190 m2 landscaped roof terrace which beautifully blends the natural tones of The Outdoor Deck high grade IPE timber decking with contrasting green areas.

Buzon UK were specified to supply adjustable BC Pedestals to support all elements of the design that includes large tree planter units and lawned areas, as well as decking, platforms, ramps and steps. The BC pedestal is perfectly suited to this kind of scheme thanks to its strength and locking keys, which stop rotation in either direction by securing the pedestal at the specified height.

The project had the complex requirement for sections of the terrace to be easily removed (and reinstated) by crane in order to access emergency generators and to accommodate this, the IPE deck boards were fixed to aluminium frames using a hidden-fixing clip system to allow for easy removal without causing damage to the deck boards
