There are always external access issues for cleaning and maintenance of tall buildings. The traditional provision of abseil points provide a solution but make usage long-winded and, hence, expensive. The new Raptor Rail system, from Sayfa Systems, enables operatives to move from side to side as well as up and down covering the whole façade of the building. So general maintenance, cleaning and painting can proceed quickly and at minimum cost.

Maintenance - the Sayfa way

Raptor Rail was designed and tested by the Sayfa Group in Australia. It has been proven in hundreds of sites there, many of which are for internal use such as in shopping malls, atriums, warehouses and hangars. The rail is typically provided in 3 and 6m sections with curves and corner sections to cope with most architectural features. There is no practical limit to the length of rail that can be built. Compared to conventional abseil points Raptor Rail will more than halve the time window cleaning takes,and operatives become less tired, making working at height safer.

Aesthetically pleasing, robust and versatile

Raptor Rail is made from aluminum, lighter and stronger than steel, which allows greater distances to be spanned in each rail section. The movable trolley is covered, thereby protecting it from the elements and hence reducing necessary maintenance. The rail can be virtually hidden from view thereby retaining the aesthetics of its location.
