Products comprise quality hardwood slats with pencil-round edges, and are sealed and spray polished. Abacus also supplies products for leisure, healthcare and MOD/home office sectors.

Abacus Design was originally launched at Tedco Business Works, South Shields, in 2000. The company has expanded its client base considerably in recent years, and is now based at Crowther Industrial Estate, Washington, Tyne and Wear.
