ACO adds award winning aspect to Saltex
ACO Water Management brings its range of award-winning drainage, water management, and landscaping solutions to Saltex for the first time. Developed to allow complete control of the removal and return of surface water to the natural environment across a wide range of applications in urbanised, sporting, parking and landscaped settings, the solutions embrace next-generation recycled materials. A range of technical support services will help installers meet the toughest sustainability and environmental requirements.
On the stand will be two newly launched product ranges: ACO Q-Ceptor oil separators and ACO Rain-Ceptor rainwater harvesting systems. Both feature a unique, single-chamber design that improves performance, eases access and reduces overall footprint, which significantly lowers installed cost.
Amongst the other products on show will be the ACO StormTank storm-water infiltration and attenuation system and the versatile line drainage system ACO Qmax®. There will be a special display demonstrating the latest developments across ACOs surface-water drainage channel ranges, which are now manufactured from recycled materials including Vienite, ACOs breakthrough alternative to traditional concrete and polymer concrete.
ACO Sport, the companys specialist division developing drainage systems for sports arenas, recreational facilities and stadiums, will also be on the stand as will a number of landscaping systems from ACO Water Managements new Urban + Landscape range.
Foremost amongst these will be ACOs award-winning ground reinforcement and stabilisation system, ACO GroundGuard. Recognised by the Association of Professional Landscapers, ACO GroundGuards open-grid structure allows it to be seeded with grass or back-filled with gravel to create high load-bearing surfaces of any size that blend perfectly with their surroundings. Capable of supporting 250 tonnes per square metre, ACO GroundGuard is widely used on golf courses, sports venues and leisure facilities to create access routes, car parks and pedestrian pathways.
Alongside GroundGuard, will be the new illuminated channel-drainage systems, which offer an ingenious and simple way to add contemporary lighting effects into any landscaped area. The ACO Eyeleds system is designed for residential applications while the ACO LightPoint range is for use in medium-duty and public areas. Both carry surface-mounted LED spotlights that are set within a range of channel options, allowing individual schemes to be created that can highlight individual areas, demark hazardous zones or add striking aesthetic qualities to surrounding architecture.
