ACO's latest generation of water management products unveiled at Ecobuild
At Ecobuild, ACO Water Management unveiled the latest generation of products across all five stages of its unique surface to outlet approach to surface water management system development. Foremost amongst the many new products on display was the range of ACO Q-Ceptor oil separators, the Domestic Soakaway Pack and the ACO Q Brake vortex flow controller. There was also a dedicated section focusing on ACOs integrated surface rainwater management capabilities which include domestic rainwater harvesting.
The elements within each of the five stages: Design, Collect, Clean, Hold, Release, are developed so they maintain optimum surface water management performance whether they are used as stand alone solutions or as part of a combined system an assurance that saves time and money for designers and contactors needing to integrate the different processes and components which are now required to meet ever more demanding surface water management specifications.
As Peter Ridgway, Market Development Director at ACO explains: The management of surface water can often be a complex task given the number of individual tasks that need to be undertaken in order to achieve a desired outcome. The key is to understand how different control processes affect each other within the overall surface water environment in which the system is to be installed.
Our Design Services operations, which draw on over 50 years of research and site experience, have developed a deep understanding of how surface water behaves as it passes through each of the five stages. It is a level of knowledge that has allowed us to embrace design philosophies such as Value Engineering and today to work with designers to ease the task of specifying components that can operate effectively together.
The latest generation of products displayed at Ecobuild stem from this continuous research and development programme. They offer new levels of performance and control while delivering greater efficiency and environmental compatibility through our use of new recycled, locally-sourced materials and low-carbon manufacturing techniques.
