Airius wins Innovation Award for Environmental Technology

Global expert in thermal destratification, Airius, has recently been awarded the Innovation Award for Environmental Technology at the highly coveted Environment and Energy Awards 2014.

The awards, widely regarded as one of the highest accolades for sustainability in the corporate sector, recognise excellence and innovation in sustainable business practices. Airius fought off stiff competition, including DIY giant B&Q, to scoop the award.

Commenting on the award win, Managing Director of Airius, Stephen Bridges, comments, “We are honoured that Airius has won such a highly regarded industry award. Our destratification technology dramatically reduces businesses heating and cooling costs by up to 50%. We are delighted that our technology has been acknowledged for its innovation with the presentation of this prestigious award.”

Airius is the worldwide market leader for destratification fans and sustainable energy savings. Made in the U.S. at its Longmont, Colorado manufacturing facility, Airius fans are sold globally through distributors in Europe, the U.S., Canada, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Airius systems are installed in a variety of business facilities including supermarkets, hospitals, warehouse and distribution centres, schools, sports halls, defence and government facilities, museums, gyms, manufacturing facilities, shopping centres and theatres.

Airius has helped hundreds of businesses, from SMEs to major Blue Chip companies, to make real reductions in their energy usage and carbon emissions with over 75,000 destratification units sold worldwide.
