AKW has proved that adapted bathroom products need not be stereotypically clinical in appearance with its launch of new stylish mixer shower Arka.

The market leader in the provision of elderly and disabled bathroom solutions has developed a new thermostatic bar mixer shower in a chrome finish proving that the company is fully in tune with modern interiors and understand well the importance of inclusive design.

Developed especially for the mobility and care market the shower is easy to use and can be a great addition to any modern bathroom. Arka holds TMV3 approval and features dual independently operated flow and temperature controls for safer use and. An extended hose length of 2m provides carers and users with extra manoeuvrability when showering. Other features include adjustable shower head giving a choice of three spray patterns, chrome soap dish for easy reach and a 1m chrome riser-rail.

Its advanced thermostatic control, featuring override buttons and dual control temperature and flow settings suit all users as well as the paddle operating levels making showering easier even with limited dexterity.
