Aliva UK Announces the launch of Grescovering

Aliva UK, leaders in rainscreen and envelope solutions and part of the Ivas Group of companies (San Mauro Pascoli, Italy), has recently announced the launch of the new series of IMOCO Grescovering façade systems. Grescovering is a system developed from extruded porcelain offering an unlimited range of shapes finishes. The duo skin tiles produced entirely from natural materials are available in through bodied and glazed RAL colours.

The products are ‘Made in Italy’, a brand statement synonymous with quality and design. The dedicated production centre covering over 80,000 square feet has been designed under the technical leadership of Maurizio Chiodi, accredited with the technological development of veining in porcelain tiles. Maurizio will be a key factor in ensuring we can satisfy the wide ranging requirements of international designers and architects.

The tiles will be available in large formats up to 3m in length and 750mm in height, the systems are lightweight at around 35kg per square metre making them ideal for new build or refurbishment. The flexible support systems allow the tiles to be installed horizontally or vertically. A self-cleaning and protective surface finish helps decompose algae and moss and the rain lifts dirt and impurities from the surface by forming a thin film. The application of this surface finish ensures an ageless appearance and reduces long-term maintenance costs.
