'Alu-Timber' Website Launch

To support the Alu-Timber launch, The Parkside Group Limited is delighted to announce that the Alu-Timber website, www.alu-timber.co.uk is now live. The website features comprehensive information on the range of aluminium/timber windows, doors and framing that combines sustainably grown FSC or PEFC timbers with 100% recyclable aluminium.

Alu-Timber has a nationwide team of architectural advisors who are specifically tasked with providing project-by-project U-values, wind loading calculations and guidance for the completion of NBS clauses upon request.

Alu-Timber product information has been listed within NBS Plus, part of the NBS industry standard specification software used by architects, building surveyors and other construction industry professionals. This means that the technical information and guidance for its products is presented to NBS subscribers, in NBS format, at the point in the specification appropriate to the products.

The ‘Genesis’ section on the left-hand toolbar has information on Alu-Timber Genesis Estimating Software Training, which has been designed and maintained by Alu-Timber estimators and fabricators. Fabrication training is also offered and these courses recognise the importance of training customers to industry standards. Details of the purpose-built classroom training facility, which is based at the Parkside Group Limited’s Surrey H.Q., is also available.

The Alu-Timber product brochure, up-to-date news, environmental information, links to other relevant websites and contact details are all available from the new Alu-Timber website.

Creating sustainable, energy efficient buildings is a cornerstone of design. The facade is now a functional element to the building; a membrane which keeps the building warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, reducing the need for additional energy from heating or air conditioning. The materials used must be sustainable, renewable and have a real end-of-life use.
