AmbiClip underfloor heating system for residential development

AmbiClip underfloor heating system for residential development

System: AmbiClip
Client: Shanly Homes
Architect: PARC Design Solutions Limited
Contractor: BCF Limited
Project Value: £5.25 Million
Completion: August 2013

Ambiente Systems UK supplied over 5,000 metres of 17mm PE-RT UFH pipe and 150 stainless steel manifold assemblies for an exclusive, gated development of three and four bedroom homes and two bedroom apartments close to the centre of Windsor. The AmbiClip UFH system was installed throughout on this project since all floors were screeded.

Ambiente supplied neon faced programmable room thermostats for each zone within these luxury homes, allowing the residents ultimate flexibility and control over the heating of their home. External floor sensors were also supplied to limit the floor temperature in areas with sensitive floor coverings.

Ambiente produced professional CAD designs for the pipework layouts in each property, complete with heatloss calculations based on U-values supplied by the architect. This gave complete assurance that the proposed system would provide adequate heating, even in the most extreme of weather conditions.

All deliveries were made from the company's warehousing facility in Hertfordshire and were timed to meet a phased delivery schedule to minimise on-site storage and reduce the risk of damage prior to installation.
