For this new-build project in the Cotswolds, Adrian James Architects required a rooflight specification which was consistent with its proposed contemporary and sustainable design, and sensitive to the style of the surrounding Cotswold village.
For its consistency in detail and seamless design, neo frameless rooflights were selected as the most appropriate product for use - helping to create a slick reinterpretation of a 'barn roof' for this bright, informal & uplifting four bedroom family home.
"The neo rooflights were a great success. They worked particularly well within the palette of materials used including zinc cladding for the curved details and an almost metallic looking dark blue/purple roof tile." - Michael Marshall - Adrian James Architects.
A total of eleven neo S8 rooflights were used, each with a sleek handle for easy opening. A total of seven manually operated Blackout Blinds, three in Cement and four Feather white, and two natural plain Roller Blinds, both in Misty White, were also installed onto the rooflights.
