Architectural Facing Masonry

Lignacite

All Lignacite's architectural facing masonry products are Kitemarked as conforming to BS EN 771-3 Aggregate Concrete Masonry Units. They comply with category 1 Masonry Units and are manufactured under a quality assurance scheme assessed and certified to BS EN 9001:2000 by the British Standards Institute.

Lignacite's range of facing masonry blocks includes:

Original
Lignacite Ltd Original Facing Masonry blocks are designed for internal or external situations combining inherent decorative appeal with strength and durability.

They are made to order and manufactured from cement, sand, pigments and a portfolio of natural dense aggregates. There is a choice of four finishes and ten colours.

The standard face size is 440 x 215mm and the 100mm width in solid form is the most popular.

Premier
The Lignacite Ltd Premier Facing Masonry range was created to provide high quality smooth faced coloured masonry that offers a fine textured surface and clean, crisp edges. The blocks can be used internally or externally and allow designers to be creative yet safe in the knowledge that they are also specifying a durable product.

They are made to order and manufactured from cement, a variety of pigments and a unique blend of natural aggregates which have been carefully selected to give a close grading structure.

The standard face size is 440 x 215mm and the 100mm width in solid form is the most popular.

Riverbed
Lignacite Ltd Riverbed Facing Masonry blocks are designed for internal or external situations. This range offers a different palette of colours and the blocks exhibit more earthy tones.

They are made to order and manufactured from cement, sand, riverbed gravel and a variety of pigments (except Amber).

The standard face size is 440 x 215mm and the 100mm width in solid form is the most popular.

Sahara
Sahara Facing Masonry is a small range of medium density products that have a particularly close- textured surface that results from a unique blend of raw materials. The blocks can be used internally or externally, although their “softer,” less abrasive surfaces makes them particularly suitable for internal situations such as sports halls, corridors and the like.

They are made to order and manufactured from cement, sand and most importantly graded wood particle (GWP). This enables the raw materials to bind together very tightly to give a smooth even finish. GWP is a “true” re-cycled material that we source from local saw mills. It also provides the blocks with increased insulation properties whilst reducing their weight.

The standard face size is 440 x 215mm and the 100mm width in solid form is the most popular.

Stone
Stone Faced Masonry blocks offer the customer the opportunity to use high quality natural stone, namely granite and marble in a conventional manor using a bed of mortar and in a very cost-effective way.

They are made to order in one size 440mm long x 100mm wide x 215mm high and at present there are two stone options, black granite (Midnight) and white marble (Moonlight). The only available finish is polished.

Lignacite’s new range of Roman Bricks has been created to offer a contemporary design feature to Architects, produced in a combination of colours, textures and finishes.

These new products will enable your building design to stand out from the rest.
