As part of a refurbishment project by London Underground, Big Marais and Navigli Expanded Metal mesh from The Locker Group were installed around the entrance to Wembley Central Station.

Navigli Expanded Metal is used to cover the top and soffit areas. The more open mesh pattern was selected here for its texture and maximum visual impact.

The lower section of the entrance is clad in Big Marais Expanded Metal which is a more closed pattern. As the general public would be passing in close proximity to the lower mesh, smaller openings were used for health and safety reasons and to inhibit potential accumulation of station debris.

Both mesh patterns were powder coated in the same grey colour to create a uniform feel and a suitably muted backdrop to the signage.
