Type of works: supply of an Ancon tension system.

An Ancon tension system has been used to support a concrete ring weighing over 500 tonnes which, in turn, is suspended above an 80m high office block.

Ancon Germany offered significant design assistance, and supplied a 42mm Ancon tension bar system.

The project is now complete, and the tower has become one of Hamburg's landmark buildings, with the suspended ring as its distinctive feature.
