Type of works: installation of a horizontal shutter within a ventilation shaft.

Guardian Industrial Doors Ltd helped form an integral part of a smoke control system at the Aurora Hotel at Heathrow. The company was required to fit a horizontal shutter to the underside of a concrete floor within a ventilation shaft. Due to the different approach required for this particular project, Guardian’s design team had to spend extra time developing a bespoke design in order to keep within time constraints and budget.
