Autopa wins at Wimbledon

Autopa's Double Manual Arm barrier with pogo support was chosen by ‘All England Lawn Tennis Association’ as the most suitable product for their access control requirements.

The Arm barriers will be used to stop traffic from entering the main thoroughfare when there is heavy pedestrian activity. Vehicles can then be allowed access manually, when safe to do so. Due to Autopa's in-house manufacturing facility, flexibility and installation service, the barriers were manufactured to order and installed in time for this year's Wimbledon tournament.

Autopa's manual arm barriers are manufactured from mild steel with an aluminium boom. In this case, a pogo support was also used instead of standard catch post so there is no central obstruction.
