The Beaumont Hospital, with a complement of 620 beds, is the major regional and primary emergency response hospital serving north Dublin areas. An average of 60 patients is admitted daily for trauma or elective treatment making it one of the busiest general hospitals in the country.

Over the last four years, Armitage Venesta (AV) has worked closely with the Beaumont, which has a rolling programme to upgrade its clinical wash hand basins, and conducted extensive surveys on their behalf. AV’s Specification Manager liaised with frontline clinical staff to provide technical advice on the programme that has helped the hospital improve its score in the National Acute Hospitals Hygiene Audit.
