Sustanailable tiles from Bedrock were chosen for the refurbishment of the Rosebery Medical Centre, the brand new refurbishment of the former Rosebery School. The building is draped with history in the town of Loughborough and the new design will really add to the local community.
Bedrock arranged to have the external commercial wall tiles engraved by using cutting edge machinery, the result is that this external wall is now transformed into a striking feature and gives a prominent and highly visual awareness for the practices name and logo.
The sustainable porcelain tiles specified for the project are accredited with Ecolabel, a European Environmental rating that is awarded for products, which are inclusive of high levels of innovation within the manufacturing of eco friendly tiles. The tiles from the Soft Stone Collection were selected by the client are in a larger format of 600x300mm and in addition to the engraving; they were also water jet cut into a custom random sized pattern effect.
The WC's incorporate a design representing a contemporary and relaxing modern feel, with browns and taupe's to give a more soothing and organic palate helping to give patients the warmth they may need whilst being poorly. Inside the medical centre the air of sophistication is apparent with current but soothing tones, with hints of contemporary whilst not being too overpowering.
