Vtec 3D panels and the MaxiBeam System were both specified in this premium residential development in Edinburgh to create two striking yet welcoming reception spaces.

Vtec worked closely with the designers to create a totally bespoke 3D design, finished in Gloss Metallic Anthracite to front face and edges, incorporating the logo to best effect.

The 3D decorative panels were made to measure so they fitted the dimensions perfectly and accommodated several door openings. Each panel was a unique size and design, individually factory cut and supplied ready to fit for the install teams. The panels were a perfect fit against an uneven bottom edge.

The MaxiBeam System was 39mm x 150mm and 200mm centres finished in a beautiful oak veneer with clear, FR Class 0 lacquer. The bespoke staggered beam design creates real interest, using the beams to great effect – their light finish stands out against the darker wall and contrasts with the 3D panels.

The beams were also used to frame a green moss wall, linking all the elements and lining up both ceiling and wall beams.

These feature beams provide huge impact in the space while being lightweight, and easy to install. MaxiBeam doesn’t require excessive support work, matching in well with the clean design and enabling discreet fitting.

The MaxiBeam system was installed using the Click-Fix method primarily, making it incredibly easy to install and ensuring it could be removed for access if required. Some areas used the Fixing Cleat method, where the demountable element wasn’t needed.
