Bespoke multi-play unit for Kimpton Parish Council

Bespoke multi-play unit for Kimpton Parish Council

Requirements?

Kimpton Parish Council asked several play companies to come up with a new play structure design for one of the village playgrounds.

The brief was to provide a multi-play experience that encouraged the use of upper body strength, balance, co-ordination and imaginative play.

What did Setter do?

Setter Play was awarded the contract after submitting an affordable design for a multi-play unit in natural materials that would complement the surrounding area.

The unit, named Coopers Hill, was designed with two towers. It features a slide, monkey rungs, a rope net, a fireman's pole, an inclined log with a rope to promote physical activity, as well as a shop window to encourage imaginative play.

It was installed on site and finished to budget and in time, despite adverse weather conditions during the installation period.

Outcome and Client Benefit?

Kimpton Parish Council has reported that the children are over the moon with their new play unit.

The Coopers Hill multi-play unit is now offered as part of the standard Setter Play range.
