Botanic House Project, Cambridge

Client: Morgan Sindall
Tyoe of works: provided MSite solution

Human Recognition Systems (HRS) has been chosen by Morgan Sindall to provide MSite an access control and workforce management solution for the BREEAM excellent Botanic House project in Cambridge.

Morgan Sindall’s project, which started in mid April, deployed MSite on the project to ensure that all employees had the correct credentials and accreditation to be on-site. The project team have opted to take the MSite Environment module, which gave them the capability to report against locally sourced labour and travel-to-site carbon emissions, which helps them to comply with BREEAM KPIs.

“Deploying MSite ensured we could manage and report against employees' credentials and access rights throughout the project. A deciding factor was the ability to report against locally sourced labour and carbon emissions, which is a KPI for this project,” said Darren Gristey, Morgan Sindall contracts Manager.

The system was deployed in a single turnstile security cabin [24ft x 10ft ], which manages up to 200 employees on site. Deploying MSite in this way ensured Morgan Sindall could accurately manage the workforce and report against the project's progress throughout each phase.

“HRS is very proud to have worked with Morgan Sindall on the Botanic House project and supporting them to make this a BREEAM excellent project,” said Rob Cummerson, HRS account manager.
