For use in roofing and walling construction, Permavent's breather membranes are fully certified and guaranteed to offer the best protection against condensation.
Manufactured using the very latest technology from the medical industry to encapsulate the highest grade hydrophobic film, formed from three layered non-woven polypropylene either side of a high tech micro-porous functional film. This functional film is specially treated to prevent rain and moisture from entering the roof when in use, yet allowing water vapour and condensation out of the roof space. Permavent roofing felt combines performance with strength to produce strong, lightweight membranes that fight condensation.
For use on all roofing types, in addition to a housewrap or skeletal construction as well as under a siding.
The range includes the Permavent Max, Permavent BLACK and Permavent ECO which vary in thickness and performance levels, suitability chosen according to the construction needs. As well as these, the following specialist ranges are available:
Permafol: An extremely high performance and versatile construction breathable membrane that offer an all in one solution for construction. Offering a waterproof and breathable layer with excellent thermal, soundproof and airtight properties, as well as being completely fireproof.
Permafol properties make it an ideal solution thatched and listed buildings by offering complete fireproof protection, and is also perfect for wall insulation and house wraps.

Permavent DRY: With modern construction conventional breather membranes can be over loaded at certain times of the day, Permavent DRYs super absorbent fleece is designed to cope with the tidal movement of condensation through the home at different times of the day. Permavent DRY can store high level of condensation at peak times and slowly release it through the day.
Permavent DRY is an indestructible membrane and is guaranteed to maintain its integrity for over 40 years.
Permavent METAL: Using the high production methods of Permavent MAX, our high performance breather membrane, as base layer to which a spiral layer of polypropylene mesh is melt bonded. Specially designed as a moisture and separation layer for all types of standing seam and metal roofs. Designed to be laid on top of rigid insulation or timber or plywood boarding, and is clean, safe and lightweight.
Permavent METAL is fully vapour-permeable, and provides a strong, durable and waterproof barrier.
Permavent VCL: A technologically advanced breathable Vapour Control Layer for use as a vapour and air leakage barrier with additional reflective insulation properties.
Permavent VCL is primarily used behind the plasterboard in air tight and passive buildings, room in the roof construction, loft conversions, timber frame construction and ceiling and loft separation layer.
