Brick Lane Mosque, London

Brick Lane Mosque, London

Architect: DGA Architects
Type of works: manufacture of custom-made cast-stone architectural designs.

Haddonstone, the leading UK manufacturer of fine cast stonework, supplied custom-made architectural designs for the refurbishment of the famous Brick Lane Mosque in London. Haddonstone provided custom cladding in its TecStone material for the well-known Grade II* listed Brick Lane Mosque as a base for its iconic minaret. The name of the mosque, Brick Lane Jamme Majid, was also cast in to the stonework. The mosque, refurbished by DGA Architects, has a fascinating history, having previously been used as a Protestant Church, Methodist Chapel and Synagogue.

There are over 500 designs in the Haddonstone Collection from cladding, steps and door surrounds to balustrading, porticos and pier caps. Haddonstone also specialises in custom-made designs to individual specifications.
