Brompton Lakes is a development of luxury holiday homes, operating on 'green' sources of energy. The lodges themselves are constructed entirely from super-insulated sustainable timber, specialist e-glazing which utilises solar energy and living plant roofs to help them blend into the landscape.

The developers were looking for a decking product which would complement the external appearance of the lodges and fit with the surrounding landscape.

Silva Timber Products provided their 25 x 90mm Cedardeck for the project, the highest grade of 'Architectural Knotty' Western Red Cedar available, offering unbeatable quality, appearance and longevity.

Phase 1 of the 'green' holiday home development has just been completed, combining environmentally friendly principles with innovative design, style and luxury. The decking supplied by Silva Timber Products blends perfectly with both the lodges and the surrounding countryside. Western Red Cedar has a beauty of its own with colours, grains and textures unmatched by any other decking material.
