Caice provides louvre system for utilities building

Caice provides louvre system for utilities building

Caice were recently successful in securing and completing one of the largest louvre screened structures in London. Housing the main generators and chillers to Thomson Reuters East India Docks, the total surface area was just less than 2000m2, using 50 miles of louvre blade end to end.

With the main structure being concrete, Caice developed a flexible support system to overcome the undulations and provide an almost perfectly flat louvre surface.

Additional features include removable sections to enable access to the generators. The finished installation installation provides an architectural feature screen that is very impressive.
