In a South Wales cash office, Avon Armour was asked to install security doors and counters, as well as a shotgun screen, to prevent attempted robberies.

One such attempt was made by robbers to break through the shotgun screen and counter. Despite their efforts, the shotgun glass held and the steel-lined counter was not breached.
