Celuform, manufacturer of PVC-U/PVC-UE roofline, windowline and cladding, has slashed days off its estimating service for customers after switching to a digital service.
The estimating department of Celuform began a strategy in 2009 to move over to digital drawings and estimates. At that time 100 per cent of paper drawings were posted in to their Maidstone, a process that cost clients a good deal of time and money.
Today the estimating department, which is based in Maidstone, Kent, is 99 per cent digital, with drawings received online, by email or on CD.
Celuform estimating manager Mark Meheux said: We have had great feedback from our clients about the new digital service. It saves them time and money, helping us to deal with their enquiries quickly and with minimum fuss.
With large clients such as Redrow and Lovells, the Celuform estimating service has achieved an enviable reputation for being able to deal effectively with customer enquiries.
Mark, who has worked for the department for 12 years, explained that demand for the departments scheduling and estimating service, had increased drastically in his time with Celuform.
Now a client can send over a drawing by email and within minutes we can both look at the same document and discuss it over the phone, he added. It has cut days off a clients waiting time, caused by them having to post documents, and helped us deal with their enquiries quickly and effectively.
