Designed to meet the emerging trend for wall-cladding in stone and earth hues, Cembrit has introduced Zenit, a new facade board which is available in ten colours, including a deep black colour. The base boards in the Zenit range are coloured with a matching painted surface that makes them hard-wearing and scratch-resistant, and suitable for all types of public and private sector cladding projects requiring an attractive, stylish finish.
Zenit is a new addition to the URBANNATURE range and as well as being the newest, is also set to be the most popular, according to Ged Ferris, Marketing Manager at Cembrit: Currently designers and specifiers are turning to darker colours to make an impact with their cladding. Black is striking both on its own or used in contrasting sections and Zenit is the perfect cost-effective solution for the imaginatively-minded. The manufacturing process gives an added benefit that produces a more durable finish that is less expensive grey boards with a paint coating. Zenit will retain its attractive appearance throughout its lifetime.
Cembrit Zenit is a unique combination of a coloured board and 100% opaque, water-based acrylic paint that matches the rich, natural colour of the baseboard. This combination gives a smooth, uniform surface and reduces the risk of visible scratches. The result is a board that is powerfully resistant to green moss and algae, water stains, and dirt. Cembrit Zenit comes in ten colours named after planets in the universe. Among these, the blackest board in the entire URBANNATURE range named after the darkest planet ever discovered, also known as Erebus after the Greek god of darkness.
