Cembrit invests in its corrugated sheet division

Cembrit has strengthened the team at its headquarters in Thamesmead by appointing James Appiah as Sales Administrator for its Corrugated Sheet Division. James brings with him thirteen years of experience working as a sales administrator and supervisor. This knowledge sets him in good stead for his new role which requires him to communicate with the Cembrit sales team and new and existing customers on a day to day basis.

A key part of James’s role is liaising with Cembrit’s factories in Poland and the Czech Republic to ensure that its corrugated depot stocks are replenished efficiently so that customer orders can be despatched on time. James is also responsible for dealing with all customer enquiries, including product checks and price queries. “It is great to join such a strong, healthy and dynamic business that is consistently growing” says James. “I was drawn to the company due to its aims to support the future needs of fibre cement products. This is apparent through the important steps Cembrit is taking towards extending its position as one of the leading fibre cement building products companies in the UK. I was also impressed with the high level of customer service that Cembrit offers and am excited to be a part of this. I will be working hard at ensuring these service levels are maintained to a high standard.”

Cembrit factories operate Environmental Management Systems (EMS) to EN14001. Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) are available on all Cembrit manufactured ranges and Cembrit fibre cement slates are listed on the Greenbooklive.com register of environmental products. All Cembrit manufactured fibre cement products (slate, corrugated sheet, cladding, building board and associated fibre cement accessories) are manufactured in conformity with the relevant harmonised European Norms and therefore display a CE mark, performance and technical data on packaging.
