Cembrit, the specialists in claddings and building boards, has launched its new URBANNATURE cladding with an extensive colour range. The new range consists of four cladding products, Fusion, True, Edge and Metro, which are available in 49 colour options and are ideal for a wide variety of building projects.

This new range of fibre cement external decorative cladding boards is available in a harmonious selection of shades and intensities, chosen by leading Scandinavian designers Pentagon Design, to reflect natural colours ideal for use in urban environments. The range has been chosen to offer a palette of colours from which designers can select options which work together, increasing the possibilities for expression. Facades are generally large surfaces and usually in external light and both of these impacts tend to accentuate colour intensity. The URBANNATURE colours are deliberately muted so as to reduce the risk of creating a building ‘face’ which is too dominant for its locale. The colour range has also been chosen to reflect the longer standing colour needs of future inhabitants as most buildings are expected to have a design life well over 50 years.

The range offers external claddings in; through colour, transparent glaze, semi transparent glaze or opaque surface coating. All of these boards have a protective layer to withstand the effects of the weather and are resistant to dirt, humidity or fungal invasion meaning that whatever is thrown at the facade, it will remain uniformly beautiful.

The boards cover two broad price levels and are available in two common stock sizes: 1,250 x 2,500mm and 1,250 x 3,050 mm with a standard thickness of 8mm. If required, the boards can be cut to size and pre-drilled in the factory. The range offers specifiers and contractors a wide selection of finished effects and large format panels are not dependent on the weather as they do not require wet trades to install.
