A team of volunteers from Crown Paints helped out at a charity event in Bristol, manning rainbow stations and fairground games to help raise funds at the Childrens Hospice South West Rainbow Run. The run comprised a 5km course, with runners getting coloured powder thrown on them from the volunteers cheering them on.
Nikki Cosgrove, Account Brand Manager for Crown Trade, headed up the Crown Paints team at the event. She said: The Rainbow Run was a fantastic event. We had lots of fun throwing blue powder at the runners all of whom were keen to get as colourful as possible". The Childrens Hospice South West has three hospices for youngsters, each offering specialist care as well as precious family time and the opportunity to make happy memories.
The hospice was delighted with the way the day unfolded, and their events fundraiser Emma McKeown commented "The atmosphere was amazing as they all set off on the 5k course to be splatted in every colour of the rainbow to raise money for Childrens Hospice South West".
