Component Developments supply product in the following ways…
Based on 30 years of experience in answering to customer’s specific needs, Component Developments have a good understanding of what is most commonly needed for various project types. With this knowledge they have been able to develop a standard range based on the area in which the products will be used. Their aim is to make our standard range as simple and easy to understand as possible for the specifier.
Component Developments provide an ‘adapt’ service to meet your more specific needs. This service allows you to take their standard range products and alter them to meet your specific needs.
For example, you may need your channel to be slightly longer, or wider, or for the depth to be deeper. You may need a different floor finish on either side and therefor a combination of two profiles is more appropriate. These can be all be easily achieved in short lead times.
Although Component Developments do theor best to meet your every need with our standard range, they understand that sometimes you just have to start from scratch. The company offer a fully bespoke service for whatever it is you require.
Why specify stainless?
Well known for it’s hygienic benefits, the smooth surface of stainless steel provides a self-cleansing velocity for liquids at very shallow gradients, before there is a need for manual flushing. It also resists staining and attacks from cleaning solvents.
Component Developments always aim to produce products of the highest quality and for that reason they go one step further than most.
As standard they manufacture using bright annealed, austenitic stainless steel for their drainage systems because of it’s hygienic properties, all their other products we electropolish.
Electropolishing involves an electric current supplied to the stainless steel while it’s submerged in acid. This alters the surface of the metal, leaving a highly reflective finish.
Component Developments use this simple and cost effective operation to not only make it look nicer but also to improve its function and service life.
