Contour Column Casings Now Widely Specified

Having firmly established itself as a market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of column casing systems, and with casings available in a variety of materials, shapes, sizes, textures and finishes, Contours' encasement systems are now regularly specified across the health, commercial, education and government sectors.

Contours’ GRP (Glass Reinforced Polymer) Column Casings were identified as the professional solution to conceal unsightly steel structures in the Ocean Cruise Terminal, home to some of the worlds’ finest cruise liners. The Port of Southampton is now on course to become the biggest cruise ship hub in Europe after the opening of the new £19 Million pound terminal.

Continuing its expansion, Contour has recently completed a significant installation at a renowned UK sporting venue. Contours’ Preformed Plywood Encasement System was identified as the perfect choice to complete the refurbishment of the Premier Enclosure at Wolverhampton Racecourse, operated by Arena Leisure Plc.

Wolverhampton Racecourse is the UK’s busiest racetrack, as well as being the first horse racing venue in Britain to have floodlit racing. Contours’ column casings were installed during the refurbishment of the “Sunbeam Suite” as a solution to the problem of unsightly building structures.

Contours' Preformed Plywood Encasement System was again specified at Nepia House in Newcastle, a significant business development on the banks of the River Tyne. The casings are located in a double height glass fronted atrium within the £10 Million development, which is home to P&I Insurance.
