Flowcrete’s fast-track, terrazzo-style floor finish Flowfast Terrosso has created a seamless, stylish environment underfoot as part of a refurbishment programme of a Co-op store in Edinburgh.

Working for main contractor McLaughlin & Harvey, Flowcrete approved contractor, XL Industrial Resins (UK) based in Bathgate, West Lothian, completed the installation over just two days, including surface preparation.

Flowcrete Flowfast was installed over existing tiles, which were prepared using a mechanical diamond grinding machine, then primed and skimmed with standard binder.

The Co-op specified its own colour scheme, in-fitting with its corporate brand identity, for the project.

Utilising the latest in resin technology, Flowfast Terrosso offers a floor finish that looks good and stands up to all the demands associated with floors for public and retail spaces.

In most cases, it is ready to use just two hours after application, allowing other works to continue with minimal disruption.

The floor also offers good slip-resistance, can withstand thermal shocks and impact, and is hardwearing. Furthermore, its seamless finish delivers an easy-clean finish that makes it easy to maintain.

These qualities, coupled with its decorative style – available in a wide-range of colours and styles – make it the ideal choice where an attractive floor needs to be installed quickly.
