Euroclad has provided a total of 952m2 of ElitePlus 5 with a 0.17 U-Value and 2436m2 of ElitePlus 5A1 with a 0.20 U-Value for the main building at Waid Academy.

Led by BAM Construction, the 24 million project is part of a larger scheme by Fife Council to establish six secondary schools and two primaries as part of their ‘Building Fife’s Future Programme’. As a multi-purpose building, this project required a number of Euroclad’s products to provide optimum performance and practicality.

437m2 of ElitePlus 1 was supplied, featuring red 32/1000 profiled outer sheets, for the roof of a small annex adjacent to the main building and all Elite systems were supplied with a 25-year system guarantee. The flexibility in design specification and installation of Elite systems means that they can be adapted to suit a variety of performances. Vieo was used over 2054m2 of the building with an aluminium-finished profile in dark grey, providing an attractive and cost-effective wall finish.
