Crown Paints has launched an updated Company and Sustainability Report, which explores the latest successes and looks at initiatives for the future which the UK manufacturer is introducing to keep ahead of its corporate responsibility goals.
An update of progress made towards the company’s sustainability targets under its award-winning Earthbalance® programme - including the reduction of Green House Gas emissions and waste and energy reductions - are also featured, along with insight into Crown’s pioneering partnership with the social enterprise NIMTECH.
Working with NIMTECH, Crown is introducing innovative methods to reduce, reuse and recycle waste, while at the same time offer jobs and training for hard to reach to long term unemployed team members. Details of Crown’s Specification Services, including BIM Objects, CPD programmes, site surveys, specification writing services, colour scheming advice and the development of sound cyclical maintenance, are all also featured.
Debbie Orr, Marketing Manager, said: “Our Company and Sustainability report is a great snapshot of the wide-ranging work we do and the service, products and support we offer specifiers. “Sustainability is a cornerstone of the business and it impacts on everything we do. “The report explains how that runs across the company and the benefits it brings to our customers.”
