Type of works: pre-cast terrazzo products supplied consisted of cladding to wall bases, circular column cladding pieces, stair treads and skirtings. Tiling included 300 x 300 x 28mm Grey and Black field and border tiles to main mall floors.

Croydon Centrale is a multi-level shopping mall located in Croydon, South London. Consisting of three main levels, its features include large open-tiled walkways, innovative tiled floor patterns, numerous open-riser pre-cast staircases and circular columns with base cladding. 

Due to its size, multitude of shops and location within in a central retail area, the mall is exposed to high levels of foot traffic on a daily basis. The terrazzo floor tiles and pre-cast stair treads supplied provide the optimum finish to accommodate the high levels of foot traffic. This is due to the terrazzo’s unique physical attributes which provides a hardwearing, dust-free, durable and uniform surface.

Terrazzo can be produced and installed to specific site requirements; this includes made-to-measure pre-cast stair treads and curved floor patterns. The end result is a practical, cost-effective and innovative floor finish.
