DAD extends their Fire Rated mailbox range

Due to the success of the FR60MBH, DAD are now able to offer a solution for any situation whether that be for on the wall, in the wall or through the wall.

The FR60MB range is a collection of highly specified mailboxes fitted with inward sprung letter plates and incorporating intumescent linings in the door and flap aperture, ensuring protection against an arson attack or fire. They are usually specified when the postboxes are positioned within a fire escape route or in a room that has to be fire rated. The FR60MB range also complies with Secured By Design requirements.

The FR60MB is manufactured from zinc steel and can be powder coated using 100% polyester powder colour from any of the RAL colour range. Can also comply to London Underground surface spread of flames specification.

The FR60MB satisfies the integrity criteria specified by Warringtonfire in BS476: Part 22 1987 mailbox Fire rating Guide for a period of 60 minutes.
