In an industry where combating infections and the spread of bacteria is becoming more and more important, Leaderflush Shapland offers a range of doorsets perfectly suited to meet the demands of the hospitality industry.

Hygienilac^® - a biocidally proactive additive which kills antibiotic-resistant harmful bacteria, such as C.diff, MRSA, Salmonella, Ecoli and Listeria, is added as standard to all Leaderflush Shapland veneered doorsets. Hygienilac^® has passed British Standard 6250 tests for severe usage and its active ingredient has approvals from the Food and Drug Association (FDA), the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) – for indirect or incidental food contact – and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

This revolutionary additive is now also integrated into Leaderflush Shapland’s exclusive high-impact PVC facing option – Hygieniform. Hygieniform incorporates Hygienilac^® through the full thickness of the PVC, rendering it antimicrobial and germ-free throughout, which means that even if the surface is scratched, the PVC will retain its antimicrobial properties. Part of Leaderflush Shapland’s Designer and Plasform^® ranges, Hygieniform can also be specified for use on protection plates and edge protectors, and is available in a range of 14 standard colours.

As an additional option, Leaderflush Shapland can also supply a range of architectural hardware which incorporates the Hygienilac^® additive into either a clear or coloured powder coat, giving specifiers the opportunity to specify a complete anti-microbial doorset solution.
