Dallmer’s high precision and stylish shower channels have been fitted in the bathrooms of a new residential district, built on the site of a former Continental Tyres manufacturing plant in Hannover, Germany.

The Wasserstadt Limmer is the largest inner-city construction project in the region and features stylish accommodation, from compact two-bedroom dwellings to spacious four-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has stunning, unique views of what is described as a green residential oasis and has been finished to an extremely high standard - with no expense spared in the bathroom.

Shower channel elegance

During the planning phase, the design team behind the development, Meravis Bauträger GmbH, relied on Dallmer for its high-quality drainage. The CeraFloor Individual shower channel was installed in 40 floor-level showers to complement the elegance of the apartment and ensure exceptional, hygienic drainage.

The CeraFloor shower channel can be installed with almost any tile – in this case, the popular long format 30 x 60 cm, in colours of anthracite and grey. This combination blends harmoniously with the environment and provides an elegant and discreet finish.

Practical to install, limitless in design

CeraFloor Individual is designed for aesthetic, recess-flush installation. It is available in different stylish finishes including matt stainless steel, matt black, matt red gold, and matt brass. Its length can be adjusted with millimetre precision from 800mm to 1,500mm.

Thanks to an integrated transverse gradient, the water drains off quickly and safely into the DallFlex drain body - the perfect partner for the shower channel.

DallFlex is an innovative line drainage system that became the first system to separate the drain and shower channel. For architects and planners, this concept offers almost limitless design possibilities, because in addition to CeraFloor Individual, other shower channels can be combined with the DallFlex drain body.

Easy cleaning

The DallFlex and CeraFloor combination makes cleaning extremely easy. The completely removable odour trap allows dirt to be rinsed out quickly, before being reinserted, and the channel wiped clean.

Marc added, “The fact the shower channel is easy to clean also played an important role in the selection of the shower channel for this project. If cleaning is not considered during planning, it has a negative impact on the end users once the project is complete.”
