GDL Air Systems installed the Intelivent Natural Ventilation package within this prevalent and established Market place in the heart of West Yorkshire. The marketplace has undergone a £2.5 Million refurbishment overhaul.

GDL supplied a Natural Ventilation solution incorporating our roof mounted penthouse louvers and wireless controls system to ventilate the various market stall areas.

This project has a number of unique features. The ‘Intelivent’ units offer ‘Free’ Natural Ventilation within each market hall eliminating a mechanical arrangement.

At the request of the Architect each of the market stall areas incorporated Weathervanes on the penthouse turrets that each represent the produce sold with each stall area, i.e. Poultry, Game and Fish. This feature was only possible on aluminum turrets.

Each stall incorporates individual sensors meaning each stall holder has an automatic control as well as an independent override.
