Diespeker terrazzo makes the Korean connection

Diespeker terrazzo makes the Korean connection

As a longstanding British company, Diespeker & Co is pleased to be adding to the export market with a new client in Seoul, South Korea for a project valued at around £17,000.

The company, Kesson was established in 1965 and specialise in interior design and renovation within the hotel, offices, commercial, leisure and residential sectors.

This is a particularly interesting contract as the company in Seoul is purchasing a bespoke terrazzo mix, and pouring it themselves on site.

The project Diespeker are supplying for comprises flooring and table tops, with Kesson creating the moulds in South Korea. There are two types of terrazzo required, one with marble chippings, the other with a pebble-like aggregate. For each, the Diespeker team is supplying the chippings and cement to South Korea as a bespoke formula.

This international collaboration seeks to confirm Diespeker as a specialist supplier for bespoke terrazzo, not just in the UK, but overseas too.
