Type of works: supply and installation of Polyflor Mystique PUR flooring.

The new and improved demo room at Domino UK’s headquarters in Cambridge has benefited from Polyflor Mystique PUR flooring featuring the stunning diamond shaped company logo.

Founded in 1978, Domino has established a global reputation for the continual development and manufacture of total coding and printing technologies and the demo room is the perfect environment to showcase the company’s products.

“The demo room features cutting edge coding and printing technology and we needed a floor that reflected the high-end products on show here,” explained specifier Richard Gregory of CE3 Design.

“Polyflor’s Expressions Design Service did a great job in designing the company logo into the floor, while the flooring itself is attractive and easy to clean. This area is constantly used to demonstrate products to customers and needs to be kept pristine.”

The Expressions Design Service uses advanced water-jet cutting techniques to create precise shapes and styles for inlaid decoration.

Non-directionally patterned Polyflor Mystique PUR heavy-duty vinyl flooring incorporates Polyflor’s highly unique, specially engineered polyurethane reinforcement (PUR) which is UV cured and cross-linked for optimum strength. This reinforcement, combined with a superior closed surface finish, facilitates a low-cost, lifetime polish-free maintenance regime, achieving savings of up to 48% compared with untreated vinyl flooring. The market-leading PUR significantly reduces chemical usage and reduces water usage by up to 55% compared to traditional maintenance procedures.

Mystique PUR achieves the highest possible BRE Global Environmental A+ Rating (certificate No ENP336 in the Green Guide to Specification) in the major use areas of health and education and can be welded at the seams and to coved skirtings to create continuous, impervious surfaces that offer no sanctuary to dirt and bacteria.

Mystique PUR meets the performance requirements of EN 649 and, fully tested to fire safety standard EN 13501-1, is certified as class Bfl-S1, achieving the criteria EN ISO 9239-1≥8kw/m² and the mandatory requirement of EN ISO 11925-2 pass.

Polyflor Mystique PUR is manufactured using 25% recycled materials and is 100% recyclable.
