Ventrollas preferred timber window double glazing solution of replacing the sashes and retaining the original box frame and sill, reduces the disruption to the property and hence cost of making good any redecoration. More importantly, the replacement sashes are designed specifically for double glazing units, particularly to carry the extra weight, and can be appropriately sealed to ensure longevity.
ventrolla utilise slim glazing units which enables them to manufacture sashes using traditional carpentry methods, including through' / 'solid glazing bars, helping to retain the window's authentic feel and look. Another main feature of the slim glazing unit is the reduced sightline of the spacer bar between the two panes of glass, which enables Ventrolla to manufacture narrower glazing bars and thereby closely replicating the existing sashes.

Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System (VPSS) Specification
All Ventrolla new sashes include the unique VPSS draught system that has been tested to BS 6375-1 2009 Class 3, which is equivalent to 71mph winds. The system is fitted by routing grooves into the mid-rail and bottom rail in the sashes, or within the inner face of casement windows, to which a pile carrier is fitted and appropriate height weatherfin pile installed. New parting beads and staff beads are fitted that also incorporate the weatherfin pile, creating a fully sealed, yet operational window.
The sashes are supplied sprayed with a high build base coat and an anti-stain primer, ready for final finishing coat by others.
