Booth were awarded from Cleveland Bridge for the design, manufacture and site installation of fire and blast walls on the LER/Substation 16 facility at the import terminal. The building provides a floor area of almost 700m2 and a height of 4.7m.

The walls and roof panels, fabricated in carbon steel provided blast protection to 10kPa and were insulated to H60 offshore fire rating and protected internally with lining panels.

Site assembly was by fixing bolts for the modular walls system to secondary steelwork.

Blast-resistant doors for entry exit, included both personnel doors and equipment access doors around the building.
