DW Windsor shortlisted for two Lux Ecolight Awards

Recognising what has been a pivotal year for their environmental strategy, DW Windsor is one of just three manufacturers to have been shortlisted for the Environmental Manufacturer of the Year award. Also shortlisted within the Award for Urban Lighting categorym Essex Street Steps featuring their illuminated LED handrail Garda (a product highly commended at this year’s Lighting Design Awards).

Managing Director Terry Dean commented ‘being shortlisted for the Lux and Ecolight Environmental Manufacturer of the Year Award is an extremely rewarding achievement for all at DW Windsor. As a UK Manufacturer we feel it is our responsibility to steer customers towards sustainable product choices.

2011 has already seen the UK Manufacturer gain their ISO 14001 accreditation and reduce their landfill by 10 tonnes with the introduction of captured waste recycling.
