Megaman UK has launched Eclipse, part of a new series of luminaires designed to complement the company's wide range of products. Wall-mounted Eclipse is a decorative up/down interior fitting that can provide an eye-catching feature for any setting.

Eclipse is designed for use with Megaman's compact GX53 palm-sized 9W lamps, which provide very low heat output, thus making them an energy efficient alternative to halogen. Using the company's unique Ingenium^® technology, the GX53 lamps also have a life of over 15,000 hours and a shorter pre-heating time. Megaman's GX53 lamps utilise a U-shaped T2 fluorescent tube which minimises dark areas and provides uniform light output. A two-joint kiss also ensures a more robust design that minimises the risk of breakage. An additional safety feature is the use of a fully-recyclable silicone diffuser encasing the lamp, so that if the lamp is damaged any broken glass is contained within the fitting.

Eclipse can be used with the standard 9w GX53 lamp or the Dimmerable version to create mood lighting. Manufactured in brushed stainless-steel, the product is available in either a White or Silver finish and is ideal for use in corridors, stairwells, hallways and reception/foyer areas.
