This is a returning customer to EFAFLEX who use their high-speed products globally within their pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. This was a design installation that was completed at their Barnard Castle site, where the premises were being expanded to increase capacity.

The client is one of the largest global healthcare companies, specialising in innovative medicines, vaccines, and healthcare products. Hygiene, air quality, temperature control, and smooth operations are vital.

A STT Turbo Door was advised in conjunction with an existing sliding door, fitted to the original façade to create an airlock. The product was chosen due to its high-speed, performance and transparent laths which improve the visibility for the safety of the users.

This project also included two smaller fabric doors to create a contamination-free working area, with all the doors designed to include the TLG light grid sensor to provide door line protection with radar monitoring and activation.

This client has already placed further orders for additional products as they have a proven track record across their UK and global facilities.
