The brand new Em-Glaze modular ridgelight range from Whitesales has been specifically designed and engineered to help architects incorporate the ideal ridgeline skylight into their building designs: one which complements their vision, without compromising on quality of daylight ingress or structural integrity.
Developed using the same maximum-daylight, minimal-frame ethos that characterises the popular Em-Glaze flat skylight range, the ridgelight features an extremely slimline aluminium framework. This increases the glazed area, in turn allowing interior rooms to be bathed in more natural light. And while the frame is unbending in strength tested to withstand wind forces and pressure far in excess of extreme British weather conditions its flexible in design. Some architectural designs require a rooflight that all but disappears into the roofline; others demand that the rooflight is a feature externally as well as internally. The Em-Glaze can do both: the elegant low-profile frame can blend into the background or specified in a wide range of RAL colours to create a bold design statement.
As well as offering best-in-class quality and performance, both standard and bespoke options are remarkably affordable. And as with all Whitesales products, all the necessary NBS specifications, supporting CAD drawings in PDF and dwg formats, plus accreditation and certification, can be found on the Whitesales website. The company also offers a free site survey and can create detailed CAD roof plan to support specific designs and installations.
