East Midlands Trains required benches as part of their ongoing improvement programme being carried out by EMT and Bowmer & Kirkland. They required benches for their waiting areas.

East Midlands Trains purchased 12 Bella Via basic pagwood benches with armrests; they were fitted to the waiting areas on platform 3a and platforms 5 & 6 during the ongoing station extension and improvement works. The benches were delivered and installed on a short lead time to achieve East Midlands Trains deadline, to have the waiting rooms operational for the Christmas period.

The Bella Via outdoor furniture range comprises an innovative trapezoid elegance, optical attractiveness alongside a bold distinctive style. Pagwood offers a variety of advantages to the benches. They are crack proof, resistant to chemicals and are low maintenance benches.

The benches were fitted by Bowmer & Kirkland – Derby.

The client was pleased with the professionalism of the project and with the quality and aesthetics of the benches installed, and due to this they also ordered Topsit Pagwood seating for other stations on the network.
